As a counselor, I believe in working together to improve overall daily functioning and wellness along with restoring health after trauma and life’s difficult moments. My goal in therapy is to create a safe space for clients to have an outlet and learn ways to help cope with current and/or past issues or events that have had an impact.
I am very open to feedback from my clients as I want therapy to be as effective as possible for you. I utilize techniques from various treatment modalities so that therapy can be tailored to each individual client. Treatment modalities used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in individual and family counseling.
